Saving the bees
PERFUMERS NEED HONEY BEES,
BUT SO DOES THE WORLD.
So we donate to the world’s leading honeybee research centres: The Bee Conservancy (North America), Honey Bee Research Center - University of Guelph. (North America), and Bees for Development (Europe)
On World Bee Day (5/20), 100% of proceeds of the sales from the Michel Parfum Collection will be donated* to the mentioned Bee Charities.
Since 2007, the world is experiencing a loss of colonies 35% annually, a rate greater than ever before. This crisis is being reported in the Americas as well as Europe and around the world.
Most fragrance ingredients, and most importantly over 75% of the world’s food is a result of bee pollination. Pollination sustains global food security, crop production, farmer livelihoods, ecosystem balance, and clean air.
Honey bees are the most valuable insects to humankind.
And we want to keep them thriving.
What you can do to save honeybees in your little, but important, part of the world:
- Plant things that bees like: blue, purple, yellow flowers all attract bees readily.
- Have a source of fresh, shallow water like a bird bath.
- Eliminate garden pesticides.
- Leave flower and vegetable gardens to go to seed in the fall. Seeding plants are the bees’ last chance to store food for the winter, starvation and survive.
Thank you on behalf of the honeybees,
Michel Germain Parfums
*100% of the retail price of $205.00 U.S. Dollars from the michelgermain.com sales of any fragrance in the Michel Parfum collection (100ml sizes only) on May 20, 2023 will be donated directly to The Bee Conservancy (North America), Honey Bee Research Center - University of Guelph (North America), and Bees for Development (Europe).

To frontline workers
UCLA Health is one of many excellent hospitals that provide
life-saving services to the community, especially during this
overwhelming pandemic. Michel Germain Parfums is proud
to be able to donate in a small way to the outstanding
efforts provided by frontline workers.
“Happy New Year!
The gift of Michel Germain product was so incredibly welcomed by our healthcare providers here at UCLA Health.
Understandably, we have been engulfed by the surge of the
pandemic, but here are a few shots of the product in the
hands of our physicians and nurses.
Again, we have such deep gratitude for your incredible
support of our frontline healthcare providers.
With deepest appreciation,
Best,”

To the community
Scott Mission is one of many excellent charities that provide
services to the disadvantaged, homeless, and vulnerable.
This mission provides practical, emotional, and spiritual
support for thousands of people every year.
Michel Germain Parfums reached out to meet some of the
amazing volunteers and clients at Scott Mission. Since socks
are the least donated, yet most needed clothing item of the
homeless, we donated our “Cozy Socks” to Scott Mission
homeless.
It is a pleasure to work with such inspiring people. Thank you
for all you do, Scott Mission, and all such charities. We wish all
their clients well.

To frontline workers
On October 23rd, 2020, Michel Germain Parfums spent the
early afternoon at the Alexander Place long term care home
within the rural community of Waterdown, Ontario. We
had the pleasure of meeting over 100 staff and having the
opportunity to give back to our community. We hoped to
add a little luxury to their day by gifting a full sized perfume
and samples to each staff member.
We are deeply grateful to all the staff and volunteers for all
the sacrifices that they are making. Thank you Alexander
Place staff for your strength, courage and dedication.
“Thank you again for coming to our home to give back to
frontline workers and showing the staff your support. They
were all so appreciative of the very generous gift of perfume.”
