(5 Secrets to Making Your Perfume Last Longer by Award-Winning Perfumer Michel Germain) Sexual perfume (or cologne for men) is one of the nicest indulgences you can give yourself.  Spritz and you automatically feel sexier, prettier, and so feminine.  It's confidence and glam in one little bottle.   With its high concentration of natural oils, this gorgeous perfume lasts longer than most.  But what if you still want some extra time to smell and feel glamorous?  How do you make your perfume (and the great feelings it gives you) last longer?  We asked our perfumer, Michel Germain, creator of top selling sexy perfume, sexy cologne, and fragrances such as Sexual Noir perfume, Sexual Paris perfume, and Sexual Noir for men, for his top perfume (and cologne) tips to make your fragrance last longer.  (These tips are written for women, but they can apply equally for men in applying cologne.)   So what are the 5 easy ways to make your perfume last longer?  1. Spritz perfume where you naturally feel warm on your skin. Most women know that their wrists are a great place to start ... but be creative and think outside the box for even more great places to wear your Sexual fragrances.  Some of Michel's recommendations:        1. Spritz behind your sexy little knees       2. a dab behind your ears       3. inner thighs is an over-the-top sexy location that's warm, warm, warm (perfect!)       4. around your seductive belly button        5. your cleavage, close to the warmth of your heart       6. your inner elbows       7. the small of your feminine back Choose two to three of these areas at first and find out what works for you. Switch it up on different days just for fun.    (Some gorgeous fragrances to wear: Sexual Femme perfume with its chocolate accord and red berries is oh-so-tempting; Sexual Paris perfume is Paris and passion swirled together in a glass of sparkling Chardonnay clementine; Sexual Noir perfume is the little black dress of fragrances. 2. Layer your perfume with its matching body lotion.   The oils and moisture in the body lotion keep the perfume oils from drying out over time.  One caveat:  make sure it's made with the matching scent ... any other lotion will change the scent in your perfume.   (Some pretty lotions to layer and enhance their matching perfumes -- and smell gorgeous on their own: Sexual Noir luxury body lotion is designed to wear under your Sexual Noir perfume.  Sexual Paris luxury body lotion is the perfect layer before spritzing with Sexual Paris perfume. ) 3. Know what type of skin you have.   Perfume lasts longer on women with oily skin, while women with dry skin need more perfume to have the same effect.  If you have oily skin, your natural oils do the same thing as perfume's matching body lotion -- keep your perfume hydrated and emanating its beauty. If you have dry skin, you don't have enough oils to keep your perfume fragrant all day.   Instead, carry a purse spray and spritz it up once or twice more during your day.  Make sure  that when you do layer on more perfume, stick to three to four spritzes.  You still want a soft, even scent.  Remember, the fragrance you put on in the morning is still there, just a little less noticeable to you.   4. Choose a stronger concentration of perfume.  Eau de toilettes are nice (they are great for a summer scent when you only want a light version of your perfume), but to keep your perfume lasting longer, choose its eau de perfume or perfume form.  These two versions of fragrance have a higher concentration of perfume oils.  More perfume oil on your skin mean longer lasting perfume.   All Michel Germain perfumes come in longer lasting eau de perfume versions.   Some of his longer lasting eau de parfums:     1. Sexual Paris perfume and Sexual Paris Tendre perfume (who doesn’t love Paris in a bottle?)   2. Sexual Fleur perfume (who can resist heavenly purple plumeria caressed with softly sweet dulce de leche?)   3. Sexual Noir perfume with its sweet strawberries and deceptively innocent pink sweet pea flower comes in both eau de parfume and intense eau de parfum  for a richer, more velvety, and longer lasting version of Sexual Noir. 5. Keep your fragrance gorgeous.  Perfume is delicate.  Its natural oils can fade or be changed if it is damaged by heat, sunlight, or age.  Avoid these “fragrance enemies” by keeping your perfume away from any heat sources or direct sunlight.  And use it often.  Perfume lasts anywhere from 1 to 2 years, so, in other words, use it or you may lose the original scent. It may still smell nice, but it is going to be a different version of the original, gorgeous perfume.
